The success of their S/S 2012 prints, Crescent and Faraz Manan collaborate once again this year to launch a second collection, Celebration 12. Being introduced across Pakistan on the 30th of July, as the name suggests, Celebration 12 is the designers’ ode to the festive occasion and includes traditional elements such as bright hues fused with print details inspired from jewels and menakari. Embroidered panels and chiffon sleeves have also been incorporated to bring a more formal aesthetic to each print. The Crescent – Faraz Manan Celebration 12 campaign has been modeled by South Asian film star and icon, Karisma Kapoor, who is also the brands’ exclusive ambassador for the year. The campaign and set also engaged the help of renowned interior designers Gauri Khan and Suzanne Roshan.
In keeping with its commitment to elegance, quality and diversity, the Crescent-Faraz Manan Celebration 12 collection consists of six timeless designs in two color variations each. A special weave with gold thread has been incorporated in each print, while exclusive evening colors ranging from hues of blue to green and yellow, have also been introduced, to bring to this collection a luxe formal/evening wear appeal.
