Mawra Hocane made an impact through her role in Sanam Teri Kasam. And now she is all set to return to television and to satisfy the eager urges of her fans she provides a sneak-peek of her next character, Sammi.
Hum TV is producing a serial ‘Sammi’, that is a social cause based serial in collaboration with John Hopkins University and the star of the serial is Mawra.
The star of the serial will be donning some very colorful ethnic wear designed by the famous designer, Zainab Chottani. In her first look, Mawra appears bashful, sheepish and less assertive as Sammi but otherwise Mawra says she is very excited to play the part:
"I am always over-excited about my job”, Mawra stated in her comments.
She added "My craft fascinates me and surprises me but the fact that I am coming back to television screens in December after a year is giving me sleepless nights, anxiety and all the more excitement! I can’t wait to share my reinvented self through Sammi, who is absolutely special."
Mawra shared the image of her dress trial on Instagram last night, revealing that drama shoot begins in a week.
The image also had a note around it. "I am all things thankful, anxious, shy, fearful and nervous as I was on my first ever shoot, but this happens to be the most fascinating element about the craft of acting, the process of unlearning the old, re-learning like a beginner all over again!"
From what she says, a conclusion can be drawn that Mawra will not be seen in a crying mode.
