The Day 3 of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014 kicked off on 12th April at Expo Center, Johar Town, and Lahore. High end design fashion retailers, designers, textile manufacturers and buyers, presented their latest Lawn/Spring Collection has participated and showcased their yearlong creations in the event.
Day 3 featured the continuation of the afternoon High Street Fashion Shows with Generation, Roodaba Omar, Bareezé Man and Gul Ahmed. The Designer Shows by Fahad Hussayn, Republic by Omar Farooq, Body Focus Museum, and Maria B., Nida Azwer and Karma Pink later in the evening.
Fahad Hussayn Kaala Pani Collection PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014’s Prèt Show on Day-3 was opened by designer Fahad Hussayn who showcased a collection titled ‘Kaala Pani. The collection drew its roots from the way of life lived and its influence on a person, which almost always results in one developing an alter ego. Life’s true essence is depicted in Fahad Hussayn’s PFDC Collection 2014 with exemplary style; beauty, romanticism and glamour were mixed with human emotions of pain, catastrophe and suffocation in a unique runway collection.
As the title Kaala Pani signifies black color, most of Fahad Hussayn Spring Dresses displayed in different shades of black. ‘Acclaimed model Zara Peerzada walked the ramp as the designer’s showstopper.To entertain the visitors, media, show biz personalities and fashionistas Day 3 of PSFW marked the return of Magnum with their Magnum Pleasure Spot.
Title sponsors Sunsilk also extended their patronage as Red Carpet sponsors and hosted an exclusive Sunsilk ‘Guess the Bottle’ Lounge at PSFW. Official beverage partners Diet Pepsi hosted a media lounge whereas the logistic partner is Fed Ex, GSP Pakistan Gerry’s International, Abbas Carpets and special handling and travel partner PIA also partnered with the PFDC for the first time at PSFW. The makeup and styling done by the creative teams at Nabila’s and NGENTS.
The event is being produced and choreographed by HSY Events, with front stage management by Maheen Kardar Ali, backstage management by Product 021, Sara Shahid of Sublime by Sara as the official spokesperson for the PFDC, logistics and operations by Eleventh Retail and photography by Faisal Farooqui and the team at Dragonfly.
