The All-Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) held its first textile and clothing show in Lahore, at the Governor House. Renowned cloth manufacturers and industrialists made fashion presentation and the success of industry leaders have also been highlighted.
The event finally kicked off with children taking to the pristine white ramp, followed by Pakistani popular models, also some new faces also seen on the ramp which seems a good addition as many the talent is emerging in the fashion industry.
Famous textiles namely Crescent Bahuman, Gul Ahmed, Alkaram, Kohinoor, Nova, Stoneage and Sapphire display their western winter and summer collection by textile mills.
Crescent’s Faraz Manan did the finale with a wide range of collection segments, of which we especially loved the red and gold ones. The young designer’s hard work was obvious from his collection, which walked on perfect song sequences. Shazia Deen of Neemaar had especially designed the jewellery for Faraz’s collection.
Crescent collection spoke volumes about clothing, designs, cuts, fabric, and patterns. The models also carried totes as beautiful arm candy, with traditional, colorful patterns embellished on them. The collection contained A line frocks, open gown, long shirts, with Q lots and ghagra. Fully sequenced sherwani dresses also designed for men.
The collection was showcased in eminent colors of red, silver, gold, black and copper. Accessories by Shazia Deen have perfectly complimented the bridal dresses in various fabrics and silhouettes, from chiffon, net to shimmery stretchable fabric. The colour patterned dubatas wrapped stylishly around the models’ necks.
