Sonia Batla’s Collection is a study of space…. explored through a look at traditional pleating, draping, folding and sewing styles in the East. Predominantly explored are the “farshi gharara” from Indo-Pak, the Kimono from Japan , and so on. Different silhouettes are juxtapositions to create a fresh balance. A new balance has been achieved through the intermix of the Eastern tradition.
